Widow's emotional plea to find culprits of 'this mindless violence' that led to husband's shooting in Enfield
Police investigating the murder of Turkish-born Zafer Eren have released the name of a North London man they want to speak to.
Officers are offering a reward of up to £30.000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the murder,and would like to speak to 22 year old Jamie Marsh Smith as part of their inquiries.
Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh,leading the investigation for the Metropolitan Police,said on Tuesday,"Today we need the public to help us trace Jamie Marsh Smith.We are keen to speak to him in connection with the murder of Zafer Eren."
We knoe that allegiances shift over time and now months on from Zafer's muerder,people may have the confidence to talk to us.
A £30.000 reward is available for information that helps us arrest and convict those responsible for Zafer's death.
"Anyone with information of the whereabouts of Jamie Marsh Smith is asked to call the incident room on 020 7321 7228 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
